My Story
My passion for cars and motorbikes started young. I was riding dirt bikes by the age of seven, spending weekends racing and helping my dad maintain and prep them for events. That’s where I discovered my love for mechanics — getting hands-on, solving problems, and bringing machines to life.
That enthusiasm naturally led me into motorsport. I began my professional career as a racing car mechanic, completing my apprenticeship at the National College for Motorsport at Silverstone. I volunteered with multiple race teams to gain experience, working on Radicals, GP3 single-seaters, and Formula Renaults. Eventually, I joined a BARC Formula Renault team, where I progressed to No.1 mechanic.
After several years in motorsport, I moved into project management, running shopfitting projects across the UK. It was a new kind of challenge that taught me the importance of planning, teamwork, and attention to detail — skills that have proven invaluable ever since.
Still, my love for engineering pulled me back. I retrained as an aircraft engine technician, relocated to the south coast, and spent the next decade working on turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft engines. During that time, I gained my qualifications in aeronautical engineering and a deep respect for precision, safety, and craftsmanship.
Even outside of work, I’ve never stepped away from the tools. I’m always maintaining my own cars, helping friends and family with their vehicles, and staying connected to the craft that started it all.
Through every stage of my career, one thing has never changed — my passion for cars.
It’s what inspired me to create The Auto Concierge: a way to bring together years of mechanical experience, technical skill, and project management expertise to help people realise their automotive dreams.
